Job Description
We're seeking a full-timeBusiness Analystto help enhance and improve the enterprise applications that support our day-to-day operations. Reporting to the Manager, Business Applications, you will bridge business needs with technical solutions to support QLS's digital transformation and deliver efficient, user-friendly systems.
The Business Applications unit is integral to ensuring our enterprise systems are robust, secure, and aligned with organisational goals. You'll work closely with business stakeholders to identify improvements, implement changes, and support effective service delivery across QLS.
In this role you will:
Gather, analyse and document business requirements, translating them into functional specifications and user stories.
Facilitate workshops and interviews to identify business needs, pain points and opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with developers to ensure clear understanding and accurate implementation of requirements.
Create test documentation and support user acceptance testing to validate system changes.
Manage and triage application support tickets, escalating as required.
Assist with data mapping, reporting requirements, and integration planning.
Develop training and user documentation to support system adoption and change.
Build trusted partnerships across QLS to support effective system delivery and a customer-focused service.
Ideally you will have the following:
Proven experience as a Business Analyst (minimum 5+ years), ideally with Dynamics 365 or similar CRM platforms.
Strong ability to gather requirements, map processes, and communicate technical concepts clearly.
Demonstrated success in influencing change and improving user experiences.
Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience preparing detailed business requirements and test documentation.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint); familiarity with Microsoft DevOps is a plus.
Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or business analysis certification (highly desirable).
Experience in not-for-profit, membership or legal organisations (desirable).
