**Does this describe you?**
- Currently forklift license
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings
- Experience in welding and fabrication
- Previous work experience in the heavy fabrication industry
- Supervisory or leading hand experience
- Relevant trade qualification in heavy fabrication/welding
- Ability to understand and work from technical drawings
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
**Responsibilities for this position include**:
- Guaranteeing the safety of the workshop and its employees
- Monitoring fabrication quality and ensuring adherence to correct standards
- Mentoring, guiding, and supporting the team to maintain a positive workplace culture
- Driving continuous improvements in workshop processes
- Reporting any issues to the manager
- Demonstrating good communication skills
- Being self-motivated with a positive attitude
- Working independently without supervision
- Delegating tasks to appropriate staff members
- Managing and updating databases and record-keeping systems
- Handling invoice processing, purchase orders, and receipting invoices
- Printing technical drawings and work packs
