Strong copy editing skills, a flair for writing headlines and solid digital production skills are essential.
Day to day you will:
Collaborate with the Culture News Editor to shape the daily culture news agenda.
Commission reporters and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality stories.
Edit and produce content in line with newsroom best practices.
Work closely with other editors and teams across newsrooms to enhance the quality of culture news coverage.
Qualifications
What we're looking for:
A passion for arts and culture.
Proven experience in editorial content production, particularly in digital editing.
Strong sub-editing skills and a deep understanding of SEO best practices.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Proven ability to work under pressure and meet rolling deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and inspire teamwork.
A hunger for news and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
