We're hiring a Maintenance Officer to service and maintain all marine and land-based assets across our Tasmanian sites.
What You'll Do
* Preventative and Corrective Maintenance: Regularly maintain vessels and equipment to prevent and resolve issues.
* Troubleshooting: Diagnose and fix mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems.
* Team Collaboration: Work with team members to identify improvements and implement solutions.
* Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
* Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
* Spare Parts Management: Source and manage spare parts inventory.
What We're Looking For
* Mechanical and Hydraulic Aptitude: Strong skills in troubleshooting and maintaining systems.
* Electrical Knowledge: Basic understanding of 12-24V electrical systems.
* Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
* Team and Independent Work: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
* Safety Commitment: Strong commitment to safety and adherence to policies.
* Welding and Fabrication: Proficiency in welding and fabrication.
