Expressions of Interest – University of the Sunshine Coast Board Committees
Opportunity to join the Audit and Risk Management Committee at UniSCThe University of the Sunshine Coast (UniSC) is seeking expressions of interest from individuals with audit, financial statement and accounting qualifications who have Senior Executive / Board / Board Committee level experience to join its Audit and Risk Management Committee (ARMC).
The ARMC has seven major areas of responsibility: monitoring internal control and risk and compliance management; monitoring of internal audit activities; monitoring of external audit activities; oversight of managing compliance with legislative requirements; oversight and appraisal of financial and performance reporting and providing annual assurance to Council; oversight of any fraud or ethics issues and oversight of social license and ensuring governance and risk management practices ensure the University maintains legitimacy and public confidence.
The governing body of the UniSC is the University Council. The ARMC is a committee of Council and is a critical element of our governance framework.
