About the role
School Infrastructure is delivering new school buildings, major upgrades and maintenance strategies to ensure every school-aged child has access to high quality education facilities at their local public school. This encompasses the largest investment in public education infrastructure in the history of NSW.
The purpose of this role is to coordinate, maintain and improve the Education Facilities Standards and Guidelines (EFSG) website for Schools Infrastructure and the Department of Education. You will manage the website and content management system, coordinate updates and scheduled content reviews, and ensure content is clear, consistent and high quality. This role will also help shape and deliver the future of the EFSG platform and the way we manage operate and manage our systems to 'serve' the standards such moving to a component-based CMS system and introducing improved UI/UX and an EFSG chatbot.
We are looking for someone who is a systems thinker, tech-savvy and proactive, with a passion for improving processes and creating smarter, more user-friendly ways of working. The role works closely with the Design and Infrastructure Standards team, Digital Engineering team and IT division to deliver website, usability and content improvements.

Key Accountabilities:
* Oversee all aspects of the EFSG website including usability, and coordinating scheduled and requested updates and changes
* ensure quality and harmonisation of new content and maintain a register of changes
* work closely with the design team, digital engineering team and IT division in the department to ensure the EFSG structure, content management and website platform meets user requirements
* Working with the team, oversee 'Get in Touch' and provide support to project teams and other stakeholders on the EFSG (eg clarifications, guidance)
* Proactively propose new systems and contribute the streamlining of processes behind standards improvements.

About you
* Experience in AEM or similar CMS and in delivering UI/UX improvements
* You are excited by using tech (eg powerAutomate, PowerBI, etc) to deliver improvements and strengthen feedback loops
* User-focussed with excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

* Appropriate tertiary qualifications or equivalent workplace experience
* Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
