Play a vital role in delivering high-quality breast imaging to support early detection and make a difference to Queensland women.
Your Opportunity:
* To deliver high level of client care, provide clinical expertise in mammographic/breast imaging services provided by the BreastScreen Queensland Wide Bay Service.
Permanent Full Time Position (76 hours p.f.) or Permanent Part Time Positions (hours negotiable) and Casual Positions Available.

* Demonstrated experience and skills in mammography.
* Demonstrated ability to identify problems and escalate where necessary to ensure high quality service delivery.
* Demonstrated communication skills in a multidisciplinary environment regarding service delivery and quality improvement.
* Demonstrated commitment to professional development and quality improvement, and the ability to impart knowledge and skills to others.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Mandatory possession of a tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification, preferably in Medical Imaging Technology (Diagnostic Radiography), and Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency with a current annual practicing certificate is essential.
* Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and if applicable registration or membership with the appropriate registration authority or association. Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager, prior to the commencement of clinical duties.
* Radiation Use License issued by Queensland Health - Radiation Health.
* Possession of a Certificate of Clinical Proficiency in Mammography (CCPM) issued by the Australian Society of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (ASMIRT) or equivalent, or the ability to attain one within twelve months of commencing employment.
* Experience in Mammography is highly desirable.
* This position may require you to work staggered shifts (early and late) and/or Saturdays as per Service delivery requirements.
* The ability to operate as a sole radiographer at the satellite service and mobile service.
* Participate in assessment clinics which would require travel as requested.

Our offer:
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $132,567 p.a., comprising salary between $79,051 - $116,189 p.a. (f/t) or comprising salary rates $ $73.25 p.h. (casual), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP3) (Permanent Full Time Position, 76 hours p.f., or Permanent Part Time Positions, hours negotiable, and Casual Positions Available) (Applications will remain current for 12 months).
