Key Responsibilities
* Lead functional, system, integration, and regression testing for Gateway and Payday Super changes.
* Interpret ATO / APRA regulations and translate legislation and guidance into test scenarios and cases.
* Validate SuperStream contribution messages, acknowledgements, validation rules, and error handling.
* Test employer contribution flows including:
* Rejections, resubmissions, exceptions, and reconciliations
* Employer / Payroll systems
* Clearing houses
* Gateways
* Super fund administration platforms
* Support release validation, deployment sign‐off, and post‐production verification.
* Provide defect triage, root‐cause analysis, and close collaboration with development teams.
* Produce test evidence and traceability to support audits, compliance, and regulatory assurance.
* Work closely with business, compliance, architects, and external vendors.
* Apply risk‐based testing to meet tight regulatory timelines.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
* 6–8+ years' experience as a Test Analyst in financial services, preferably superannuation.
* Proven experience testing ATO SuperStream and Gateway integrations.
* Hands‐on experience with Payday Super–related changes (or similar regulatory change programs).
* Strong understanding of:
* Employer contributions
* Clearing house processing
* Gateway message validation
* ATO acknowledgements and error codes
* Solid experience in integration and data‐driven testing.
* Strong test documentation, reporting, and evidence management skills.
* Experience working in Agile / hybrid delivery models.
* Experience working with large super funds, administrators, or administrators' gateways.
* Exposure to CPS 230 / operational resilience testing.
* Knowledge of STP Phase 2, payroll integration, or employer systems.
* Experience using test tools (e.g. JIRA, ALM, Zephyr, qTest, SQL, Postman).
* Exposure to automation or AI‐assisted testing (desirable, not mandatory).
