SUNSTUDIOS Sydney provides industry leading services and expertise to the creative industry in Australia. These services encompass cinema and stills equipment rental, lighting consultancy, technical support, studio and location bookings, production and events. Key customer segments include fashion and advertising photographers, production agencies, broadcast television networks, online streaming services, corporate event partners and many more.
**About the Role**
SUNSTUDIOS Sydney is looking for a Studio Reset Assistant to join our studios department on a casual basis. You will be working closely with our studio coordinators and team-lead on preparing our five studio spaces for upcoming shoots, painting sets and props, sourcing supplies, cleaning, and building maintenance.
This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with a photography/video studio and be part of an established industry leader. This role would suit someone who is a team player, has great attention to detail, is self-motivated, a good communicator and is comfortable with handling and moving large objects such as furniture and wall flats.
**Main Duties**
- Painting cycloramas and sets
- Cleaning and maintaining studio spaces
- Maintaining and organising loading dock and back of house areas
- Installing sets for upcoming shoots
- Occasional driving (to collect supplies)
- Offering an exceptional level of service to clients
- Supporting retail and rental departments when needed
**Key Requirements**
- Self-motivated, organised, and a true team player
- Great attention to detail
- Full unrestricted driving license is a must (can be Red or Green Ps)
- Available to work afternoons and evenings, some Saturdays
- Experience with painting or handy work an advantage
- Adept at manual handling
- Experience with art department is desired but not required
