A loving, down‐to‐earth family based in Longueville, NSW is seeking an experienced and nurturing nanny to care for their 2‐year‐old son. They are looking for someone who is warm, patient, and energetic, and who can build a genuine, close, and trusting relationship with their child while contributing positively to the home environment.
The Role
This is a part‐time position, working 2 days per week (20 hours):
* Thursday & Friday: 7:30 am – 5:30 pm
The family is seeking a nanny who is reliable, honest, organised, and a strong communicator—someone who takes pride in their role and provides consistent, high‐quality care.
A Typical Day
The day will begin with breakfast and settling into the morning routine, followed by play‐based activities and outings such as walks to the local park or playground. The nanny will support lunch, nap time, and afternoon snacks, and continue to engage the child in age‐appropriate play and activities until the parents return later in the day.During nap times, light household duties related to the child would be appreciated, helping to maintain a calm and organised home environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide attentive and nurturing care, following the child's established routines
* Engage in age‐appropriate play and activities to support growth and development
* Take the child on outings such as walks to the park or playground
* Prepare meals for the child
* Assist with general tidying and light household duties as time permits
About You
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following:
* Minimum 3+ years' experience as a nanny or in childcare
* Proven experience caring for babies and toddlers (essential)
* Warm, patient, and engaging nature
* Reliable, organised, and proactive approach
