As Head of Order Execution Australia for transformers and switchgear, you will lead a team within your designated country to ensure flawless execution of product projects. Your role encompasses end-to-end project management, including order execution, delivery precision, quality assurance, environmental health and safety (EHS), and logistics. You will be accountable to achieve expected profit margins, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring high customer satisfaction, while collaborating closely with regional and global stakeholders across GT and SE.
Your day will be dynamic and strategic engaging with direct reports to assess risks, refine execution strategies, and guarantee successful project delivery. You will work with cross-functional partners such as finance, technical experts, and customers to drive transparency, mitigate risks, and uphold timelines. By fostering collaboration and addressing challenges proactively, you will help achieve key business objectives like revenue growth, optimized cash flow, and enhanced customer satisfaction.

* Customer-Centric Approach: Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders in your country, addressing escalations effectively and exceeding expectations.
* Financial Stewardship: Manage risks and opportunities strategically to drive revenue growth, optimize cash flow, and improve financial outcomes.
Qualifications
* Educational Background: University degree in electrical/electronic engineering or a related technical field.
* Industry Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, operations, or order execution, ideally within the energy transmission sector.
* Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to manage complex negotiations successfully.
* Customer Focus: Strong capability to build customer relationships and leverage market insights.
* Certifications: Project management certifications (e.g., PMI, IPMA) are an advantage.
* Leadership Excellence: Demonstrated leadership and communication skills, with experience managing multicultural teams.
* Language Skills: Fluency in English.
* Flexibility: Willingness to travel within the country and adapt to varying contexts during project execution.
