About the role
Transcord Community Transport Limited is seeking an enthusiastic and organised Operations Co-Ordinator to join our team on a part-time basis. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our day-to-day operations from our office in Southport, QLD. As a key member of our Administration & Office Support team, you will play a vital part in helping us achieve our goals and deliver exceptional community transport services.
Australian work authorisation is required for this position.
What you'll be doing
* Coordinate dispatching to ensure efficient and reliable service delivery
* Liaise with clients, volunteers and other stakeholders
* Maintain accurate records and documentation related to our operations
* Assist with the recruitment, training and supervision of our valued volunteer drivers
* Support the implementation of office procedures and administrative systems
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of our operations through innovative ideas and solutions
What we're looking for
* Proven experience in a similar operations or office management role, preferably within the community transport or not-for-profit sector
* A minimum of 2-3 years of operations or office management experience is required
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
* Strong organisational and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail
* Proficiency in using administrative software and IT systems
* Proficiency in transport management systems, database management, and Microsoft Office Suite is essential
* A genuine passion for supporting and empowering the local community
