About this role
We are seeking a passionate Housing Support Professional to empower individuals to reclaim their lives, find safe accommodation, and build towards a brighter future.
As part of our Specialist Homelessness Services team, you will provide compassionate, practical support to individuals who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. You'll help people stabilise their housing situations, build independent living skills, and connect them to essential services and community networks.
You'll be working within a dynamic and supportive environment where collaboration is key, alongside health services, local agencies, and other service providers.
This is a fixed-term full-time position contracted for 12 months. Your qualifications and experience will be in supporting individuals with complex needs and behaviours.
Your strong relationship-building skills and collaborative approach will enable you to remain calm, compassionate, and solution-focused. You will assist clients with training, employment, and community engagement pathways and facilitate life skills and development activities to promote long-term independence.
Responsibilities include conducting intake assessments, creating individualised case plans, coordinating referrals, and liaising with support services and external agencies. You will also conduct outreach visits and offer hands-on support in residential settings.
A current Victorian Driver's Licence and a valid Employee Working with Children's Check are required.
Ongoing professional development opportunities enhance on-the-job skills and proficiency. A purpose-driven career offers personal satisfaction.
We value Integrity, Compassion, Respect, Diversity, and Collaboration.
