Job DescriptionNew opportunities have been created in the company to cater for our continued growth in the industry. We are seeking skilled Fire Systems Technicians with a minimum of 5-6 years of hands-on experience that display a vast knowledge relating to systems fault finding and equipment replacement works. In this role, you will be working with our team, responsible for servicing & maintaining Fire Detection & Evacuation Systems throughout the NT Government and Commercial sectors. THE ROLE:
Mandatory testing, servicing & periodic preventative maintenance of Fire Detection & Evacuation Systems.
Compiling & Delivery of Fire Detection & Evacuation systems Maintenance Log documentation & Defect reports.
System Rectifications including fault evaluation and problem-solving solutions.
Undertake Inspections & Audits of Fire & Evacuation systems.
Available to undertake an
On-Call Service via Roster.
Ensure the continuation of maintenance contracts by providing exceptional customer service and remaining vigilant to potential repairs, upgrade works and refurbishments.
Commercial fit out and Minor construction installation and renovation works.
Overtime availability if required.

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL REQUIRE
Minimum of 5-6 years of hands-on experience.
Strong communication, written and customer service skills.
Extensive fault-finding skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
A broad knowledge of various Detection & Evacuation System configuration and programming skills.
Advanced knowledge of AS1670 and AS1851.
Good time management and organisational skills.
Current Drivers licence.
National Police Check - or willing to obtain one.
Industry White Card (or the ability to obtain).
Working
With Children Card (or the ability to obtain).
Able to work unsupervised, as well as being part of our team.
Willingness to learn and upskill.
Personal hand tools.
Open registration Cabling Licence (desirable).
Working at Heights (desirable).
First Aid Certificate (desirable but not necessary).
Elevated
Working Platform operation experience – under 11m (desirable but not necessary).
