Design and Technology Role
This role is focused on designing and delivering technology education to students, with an emphasis on creativity, innovation, and collaboration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in design and technology, as well as experience in teaching and mentoring.
About the Job
* The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching classes to students in years 7-10, and providing coaching and mentoring to teachers, students, and parents across the school.
* This is a key role in our school's Information Technology Team, and the successful applicant will be expected to work closely with other team members to develop and implement technology-related initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Degree in Design, ICT or related field
* At least three years of experience as an Innovation, ICT or Design teacher/coach/integrationist
* Flexible, positive and creative approach
* Commitment to safeguarding and wellbeing of children
* Highly developed collaborative coaching and mentoring skills
* Exceptional communication skills
* Experience with and commitment to Design Thinking, Inquiry and Project Based Learning
* Proven understanding of effective use of technology in classroom environments
