**About the role**
We are looking an experienced Branch Supervisor to join our Glendenning Branch.
As the 2IC you will play a key role in the success of our branch and its people. You will provide the Branch Manager support through a variety of tasks including but not limited to:
- Lead and mentor our team in both technical and professional skills; leading by example to instil a safety first approach whilst delivering excellence for our customers from new starters to tenured employees.
- Maintain and promote a healthy and safe workplace, owning it and holding our people accountable to a safety first culture by educating on JSAs and SWMs.
- Smooth running of our branch through stock control, plant and equipment maintenance reporting and schedule repair work.
- Product installation quality and compliance by ensuring crews are effectively manned, have the skills and competencies to do the job correctly and providing follow up audits as required
- Conduct regular reporting and documentation control for compliance
- Buildsafe customer representative; Onsite customer visits, measuring and estimating when needed
- Driving our Buildsafe Workplace Culture - fostering a positive culture where excellence and teamwork is paramount
**About you**
You will have demonstrated experience in the construction industry in a supervisory role and hold a White Card, preferably you will hold a basic scaffolding ticket and be well acquainted to the work undertaken by a scaffolder. You will lead by example, willing to lug and work as part of a crew when required.
**Additional Skills & Key Attributes**
- Strong experience in people management/supervision
- Height safety equipment experience in the residential construction industry would be highly regarded
- Previous experience with residential onsite supervision
- High level of organisation and time management skills
- Problem solver and highly solution focused
- Customer service - Experience dealing with Builders & supervisors
- Professionalism; Ability to follow Buildsafe policies and procedures
- Confident communicator - Ability to conduct toolbox talks and delicately handle difficult conversations.
