Quest Perth Ascot brings a stunning accommodation experience for both the business traveller and leisure traveller to the Ascot Location. Follow the river on foot or bicycle or catch the train straight into the city to enjoy Perth’s eclectic eateries, pubs and nightlife.

With quick access to major connecting roads, it’s too easy to explore the city and beyond – making us the perfect hub from which to get to know the wineries and views of nearby Swan Valley. Of course, Ascot’s notable destination is its renowned horse racing track, hosting the Autumn Cup and horse meetups.

We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Guest Service Agent / Front Office Receptionist to join our team on a casual basis.

The Role

The role involves all aspects of the front office operation. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Providing friendly, personalised customer service when dealing with guests
- Promoting the business and contributing to budgeted revenue targets
- Processing reservations and ensuring full and accurate data capture
- Assisting corporate and leisure guests with check in, explaining the hotel facilities and location, check out and ensuring the smooth running of the reception desk

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will possess the following key attributes and experience:

- A passion for customer service thus ensuring a positive experience for all of our guests
- A strong sales focus when promoting and selling accommodation services and facilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to time manage and work autonomously
- Experience with Property Management Systems
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Detail oriented with high standards of personal presentation and team orientated ethos
- Previous reception experience within the hospitality/travel or tourism industry will be highly regarded. We also encourage those with sales experience or customer interfacing roles such as call centre operator or retail to apply

The successful applicant must be available to work shifts including weekends and public holidays and have entitlements to work in Australia.
