Our opportunity
As a Facility Manager you will manage the maintenance and operation of buildingservices within Assets ensuring that the assets are maintained in good repair,utilised in the most cost effective manner and serviced in accordance with thestatutory requirements.
Your responsibilities are:
9. Approval of Work Orders, tax invoiceprocessing and contracts within delegated authority.
10. Delivery of Operational Expenditurebudget against forecast.
11. Compliance with the requirements ofthe Mirvac Quality Management System.
12. Advise the Property Manager and theSenior Facility Manager on maintenance and operational issues which may affectthe normal operation of the building and operating budget.
13. Respond to all after-hours calls asrequired.
14. Maintain an up to date asset registerand preventative maintenance planner in the required business format.
15. Maintain all relevant statutory logs,registers relevant to the properties.
16. Regularly monitor the BuildingManagement Control System.
17. Physically inspect all plant andequipment to ensure operational readiness for building occupancy.\Participate in OperationalHealthcheck Proforma (QMS dataroom) with Divisional Manager, onsite SeniorFacility Manager and Property Manager.
18. Complete all FCR compliance reportingwithin the correct timeframes.
19. Ensure all areas of the property arealways presentable.
20. Respond to information and tenantrequest as required.
21. Attend and contribute to staffmeetings to ensure that all Mirvac staff and core contract staff are fullyappraised of all activities.
22. Complete the performance managementprocess and related documentation on time as outlined in the PerformanceManagement Program including a Development Plan.
Your point of difference
To be successful you will have moderate experience in all facets of facilities management typically stemming from a solid administrative and/or technical background.
Technical competency with trade or tertiary qualifications, demonstrated experience in a high-volume role with conflicting priorities and experience in negotiating and enforcing contracts is highly regarded.
Finally you will have an understanding of Australian Standards, NCC, HSE, DDA and other risk management issues and be available on call after hours. when necessary.
