Job Title: Maternal and Child Health Specialist
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Maternal and Child Health Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist services to promote and protect the health of children aged 0-6 years and their families.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a community setting and possess a strong understanding of maternal and child health issues. They will be able to work effectively with a diverse range of people and provide guidance and support in a non-judgmental environment.
The role involves conducting regular consulting sessions, monitoring and assessing the health and development of young children, and providing advice on childcare, parenting, and family-related issues.
The successful candidate will also be required to assess parents' adaptation to parenthood, identify areas where additional support is needed, and facilitate access to community resources and healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Nursing registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency
* MATernal and Child Health Qualifications
* Midwifery qualifications
* Relevant experience in maternal and child health
