Anstey Homes is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable & Payable Officer to join our growing team with an immediate start.
This is a key role within the business, responsible for managing cash flow, maintaining strong financial processes, and supporting the day-to-day operations of a fast-paced residential building company.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage accounts receivable and payable functions
* Issue invoices and follow up outstanding payments
* Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial records
* Work closely with project managers, director, suppliers and accountants
* Assist with general finance and administrative duties
* Monitor, forecast and help manage cash flow
* Data input into job costing systems
* General Admin and duties.
About You:
* Proven experience in a similar AR/AP role
* Strong competency in Xero and Excel
* Building industry knowledge or prior experience working with a builder is highly regarded
* Confident communicator with the ability to professionally chase outstanding invoices
* Resilient, and able to handle pressure
* High level of attention to detail and organisation
* Trustworthy, team player
