Male/Female Fitness Professional Required
We are seeking a passionate and reliable male/female Fitness Professional to join our team.
This role involves supervising gym users and court hires, delivering safe and welcoming gym inductions, and supporting members in their health and fitness journey.
Applicants must hold either a Certificate III or Certificate IV in Fitness, with additional programming responsibilities for Certificate IV holders.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise members using gym facilities and court hire areas
Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment at all times
Provide gym inductions and equipment demonstrations
Monitor correct exercise technique and promote injury prevention
Enforce facility rules and WHS procedures
Deliver excellent customer service and build positive member relationships
Respond to incidents and emergencies in line with First Aid and CPR training
Assist with opening/closing duties as required Additional Duties (Cert IV Only)
Design and deliver tailored fitness programs for members
Conduct basic fitness assessments and goal-setting sessions
Provide ongoing program reviews and progressions
Support members with motivation, education, and accountability Requirements
Certificate III or Certificate IV in Fitness (SIS30321 / SIS40221 or equivalent)
Current First Aid Certificate
Current CPR certification
Strong understanding of gym safety and exercise technique
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for health, fitness, and community wellbeing
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working with Children Check Desirable (but not essential)
Previous experience in a gym or fitness facility
Experience supervising group or community spaces
Availability for evenings and/or weekends What We Offer
