Job Title
A luxury hotel is seeking a dedicated and experienced Concierge Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the Concierge desk, providing exceptional guest service from arrival to departure. The successful candidate will support and guide the Concierge and Bell team, facilitating VIP arrangements and acting as a key point of contact for guest requests.
This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a deep knowledge of local attractions, dining, and entertainment. Additionally, the candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, lead and motivate a team, and maintain impeccable personal presentation.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and support the Concierge & Bell team to deliver outstanding guest service at all times
* Coordinate personalized services including restaurant reservations, transportation, sightseeing tours, and special guest requests
* Ensure all VIPs and repeat guests receive bespoke service in line with brand standards
* Maintain strong local knowledge and partnerships to provide the best recommendations to guests
* Handle guest complaints and feedback with professionalism and urgency
* Train and mentor new concierge and bell team members
* Maintain the smooth flow of communication between Front Office, Guest Relations, Food and Beverage and other departments
* Uphold the hotel's standards of service, appearance, and etiquette at all times
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Minimum 2 years of experience in a 5-star hotel concierge or guest services role; prior supervisory experience is an asset
* Impeccable communication and interpersonal skills
* Fluent in English; additional languages highly desirable
* Exceptional knowledge of local attractions, dining, and entertainment
* Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced luxury environment
* Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
* Immaculate personal presentation and the highest level of personal grooming
* Full NSW Drivers License
* Must have full Australian working rights
