**Australian Luxury RTW - Sydney - Mandarin Speaking**
Now Hiring | Our client is a Sydney based women's RTW label - that embodies strong femininity, combined with luxury craftmanship - this brand has quickly become a staple in the wardrobe of the modern women. In a very special and newly created role we are looking to connect with Sydney based Mandarin speaking Designers.
In this role you will be the connection between the Creative Director and the internationally based design team - utilizing your fluency in Mandarin you will use collection feedback from clients and the wider company to refine collections and continue to evolve the design process between the design team and the Creative Director.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Assist the Creative Director in conducting seasonal trend research
- Convey feedback from wider company through to the design team through your exceptional product knowledge and utilizing your fluency in mandarin
- Design product ranges that meet the brand image, and product mix and margin strategies
- Creation and maintenance of all design boards including range boards, mood boards and fabric boards
**Key skills and attributes required**:
- Previous experience in a fashion design role within Womenswear
- Highly proficient in Illustrator, InDesign & Photoshop
- Excellent fabric knowledge and experience in sourcing
- In-depth garment construction knowledge
- Highly organised with excellent time management skills to manage and deliver in line with the business calendar
- Experience in designing and developing cohesive ranges across all product categories
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced and hands on environment
