Looking for an experienced LV / HC Mechanic to join a mining business in Moranbah! 50 hours per week!

Our client is a Queensland-based company specialising in the design and manufacture of innovative mining and road maintenance vehicles. They have built a strong reputation for providing high-quality, reliable equipment to both domestic and international clients. Their product range includes Stemming Trucks, Contour Loaders, Water Trucks, and more, all designed to enhance safety, accuracy, and efficiency on mine sites. They are currently looking for an LV / HV Mechanic to start ASAP in their Moranbah workshop!
Your new role
* Performing maintenance and repairs on-site light vehicles & trucks
* Identifying and fixing mechanical and electrical problems
* Carrying out routine maintenance tasks and service procedures
* Ensuring a safe work environment, focusing on customer satisfaction, and maintaining high productivity amongst technicians
* Working collaboratively within a high-performing team to meet deadlines and achieve goals
What you'll need to succeed
* Trade Qualified Mechanic (LV or HV)
* Driver's licence or reliable transport
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to complete D&A screen and police check
* Living locally in the Moranbah region or willing to relocate
* Contactable references

If you are successful in this role, you'll have the opportunity to join a well-established company in Moranbah. The job entails 10-hour shifts and a 9-day fortnight. Your hourly rate will be determined by your experience. Initially, the position would be casual with our client, but there is potential for it to become a full-time role for the right candidate in the future.
