About the role
As a Concrete Labourer with Down Right Concreting, you will be responsible for assisting with all aspects of concrete placing and finishing work. This is a full-time role based in Canberra, and surrounding regions, where you will be part of a dedicated team delivering high-quality concrete work to clients.
What you'll be doing
* Preparing formwork prior to pouring
* Operating concrete vibrators, power trowels, and other equipment to finish concrete surfaces
* Cleaning tools and ensuring they are ready for use.
* Learn to finish concrete including colour-thru, exposed aggregate, spray on stencil
* Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety
* Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
* Assisting with other general labouring tasks as required
What we're looking for
* Previous experience labouring is desirable but not essential for Labourer role
* A desire to learn the art of concreting
* Good physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour tasks
* Ability to work in a team and collaborate with others
* Valid Driver's Licence, Asbestos Awareness Certificate, Silica Certificate, White Card
* Registered vehicle to get from A to B
