Mon–Tue: 06:00–14:00 | Wed–Thu: Off | Fri–Sun: 10:00–18:00
Remuneration: $ $31.32 ph + Salary Packaging (up to $15,990) + Access to staff discounts & benefits.

Your Role – More Than Just Cooking - As a Cook at Lutheran Services you will be part of a team that:
* Prepares and presents varied, nourishing, and appetizing meals that align with dietary needs and preferences.
* Maintains a safe, clean, and efficient kitchen environment, maintaining hygiene and compliance standards.
* Collaborates with catering staff, residents, and care teams to enhance meal services.
* Work with the Head Chef to fostering a high-performance and team-driven culture.
* Assist with menu planning, budgeting, and stock control.
* Collaborates and innovates with the team to deliver continuous improvement cost-effectiveness and resident satisfaction.
What You Bring to the Table
* A relevant trade qualification (Cert III or Cert IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent).
* Experience working in a commercial kitchen, ideally in Aged Care or large-scale catering.
* A valid Queensland Driver's Licence.
* Strong leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to mentor and guide staff.
* Knowledge of safe food handling practices and WHS compliance.
* Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
