I-MED Radiology is opening a brand-new clinic, part of Adeney Private Hospital and is currently seeking a Sonographer Supervisor to join the team.
The new state of the art hospital will be opening in July.
The other position is to join the team in our Warringal clinic. This role will be overseeing a growing department within the Warringal Medical Centre.
The role is full time, permanent position working Monday to Friday with 7.6 hour shifts between the core hours of 8:30am and 5.30pm.
As the Sonographer Supervisor, you will lead a team dedicated to providing high-quality, accurate medical imaging services to referrers and patients while also driving improved clinical and financial outcomes.

Key accountabilities include:
Workforce Management: Collaborate with the Sonographer Coordinator to efficiently plan and manage the daily technologist workforce, ensuring optimal staff rostering, annual leave planning, and management of absences.
Leadership and Mentorship: Manage, develop, and mentor technologist staff, providing clinical guidance and support within the clinic.
Service Excellence: Ensure the delivery of outstanding service and supervise the day-to-day operations of the Medical Imaging department to maintain high-quality standards.
Quality Improvement: Drive quality improvement initiatives, reviewing and refining work practices to enhance both clinical outcomes and financial performance.
Patient-Centric Approach: Provide the highest level of patient care by performing routine and specialised medical imaging procedures to the highest professional standards.
Stakeholder Relationships: Establish and maintain strong, cooperative relationships with key stakeholders, fostering collaboration and effective communication.

Leadership Skills: Ability to effectively manage, coach, and lead clinic staff, creating a cohesive and motivated team.
Clinical Excellence: Demonstrated proficiency in performing high-quality medical imaging examinations, employing correct techniques to industry standards or above.
Excellent Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with radiologists, patients, staff, and other medical and non-medical personnel verbally and in writing.
