In this role, you will work within an interprofessional team to support timely discharge planning, lead service improvement initiatives, and contribute to clinical education and capacity building. Where appropriate, act as primary supervisor for student training.Continually develop clinical practice knowledge, skills and expertise through self-directed learning, active learning within a team environment and engaging in professional development activities, including participating in performance appraisal and development plans.Manage an allocated clinical workload to deliver occupational therapy services to complex long-stay hospital inpatients, including assessment, intervention and evaluation within an interprofessional team in accordance with established clinical & departmental protocols, policies and procedures and evidence based practice and ethical standards and under clinical practice supervision or professional guidance of more senior staff.Find out about the role in more detail and how to apply in the attached Role Description.Our values of Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Engagement and Excellence, shape our culture within Metro South Health.
