Summerstar Tourist Parks is seeking a capable and motivated Park Management Couple to lead Nanga Shark Bay Caravan Park, a unique beachfront park located in the spectacular Shark Bay World Heritage Area.
This is a rare opportunity for a couple who enjoy hands-on hospitality, practical problem solving and living in a beautiful coastal location.
Nanga Shark Bay Caravan Park offers guests a relaxed base to explore one of Western Australia's most remarkable regions. The park provides powered and unpowered sites, holiday units and motel rooms, along with facilities including a pool, camp kitchen and BBQ areas.
The park operates off-grid infrastructure, including generator power systems, reverse osmosis water treatment and wastewater treatment systems, and an onsite shop licenced to sell alcohol.
As part of the Summerstar network, the park is currently receiving a little "Summerstar sparkle" as we continue to invest in improvements to enhance the guest experience.

About the Park
Formerly known as Nanga Bay Resort, Nanga Shark Bay Caravan Park is a coastal gem nestled on the beachfront in the Shark Bay World Heritage Area.
The park offers a range of accommodation including:
* Powered caravan and camping sites
* Beachfront powered caravan sites
* Unpowered caravan and camping sites
* Holiday units
* One-bedroom motel rooms
Guest facilities include:
* Camp kitchen
* BBQ areas
* Guest laundry
* Clean ablution blocks
* Swimming Pool
The park operates off-grid infrastructure, including generator power systems, reverse osmosis water treatment, wastewater treatment, and a small shop, licensed to sell alcohol.
About the Role
This is a hands-on management role for a couple, responsible for the day-to-day operation of the park.
Typically, one partner will focus more on office operations and guest services, while the other focuses more on grounds, maintenance and infrastructure, although both roles work closely together across all areas of park management.
Due to the park's location and infrastructure, this role suits a couple who are practical, adaptable and comfortable managing a variety of operational systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Delivering outstanding guest service and creating memorable holiday experiences
* Managing reservations and front office operations using RMS
* Rostering and supervising a small team of staff
* Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation across the park
* Grounds maintenance, repairs and preventative maintenance
* Monitoring and operating the park's generator power systems
* Monitoring and maintaining the reverse osmosis water treatment system
* Monitoring and maintaining the wastewater treatment system
* Maintaining and testing the swimming pool
* Managing guest enquiries and resolving issues professionally
* Managing the sale and service of alcohol in accordance with WA liquor licensing laws
* Completing daily financial reconciliations and operational reporting
* Rostering and Managing Staff, as seasonally required
* Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental and operational procedures
About You
The successful couple will ideally bring:
* Previous caravan park, hospitality, tourism or property management experience
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Practical maintenance and troubleshooting abilities
* Good administrative and computer skills
* Confidence working with mechanical systems, pumps, generators or treatment systems (training can be provided)
* The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
* A positive attitude and strong teamwork as a couple
* Current driver's licences
An Approved Manager's Certificate (WA) or the ability to obtain one, will be essential.
