The Opportunity
We are looking for a skilled and reliable timber‑focused tradesperson to join our timber processing and furniture assembly team. You'll work closely with a small, friendly group of craftsmen to produce the premium‑quality products that StraBe is known for.
This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys working with timber, takes pride in their work, and values quality.
Key Responsibilities
* Process hardwood timbers including sawing, drilling, sanding, routing, and finishing.
* Assist with processing aluminium and composite extrusions as required.
* Assemble timber furniture and components across a variety of product designs.
* Contribute to packaging and preparing finished goods for dispatch.
* Follow LEAN manufacturing practices and support continuous improvement.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and well‑organised work area.
* Perform quality checks to ensure all products meet StraBe's high standards.
You will work alongside an experienced team who are passionate about craftsmanship and delivering exceptional products.

Skills & Experience
* Experience using timber machinery and associated hand tools.
* Excellent attention to detail, with a commitment to quality and safety.
* Reliability, honesty, and a strong work ethic.
* A trade qualification (Carpenter or Cabinetmaker) is beneficial but not required .
* Training or exposure to LEAN principles (advantageous).
* The ability to work well in a team environment and independently when needed.
* Pride in their craftsmanship and desire to produce high‑quality products.
* Competency in English for safety and communication.
