The Position:

We pride ourselves on quality food, beverage, and customer service and are looking for an outstanding Chef who has extensive experience in a variety of food operations. This is a full time, 38 hour per week role.
Key duties:
Ensuring food preparation, cooking and presentation is of a high standard at all times.
* Prepare and cook foods of all types for either regular menu items, special requests, or allergen requests for the bistro and functions.
* Assist in menu development and planning.
* Assist cooks and other workers in the preparation cooking garnishing and presentation.
* Demonstrate, implement, and maintain effective cost control strategies.
* Develop and maintain appropriate relationships with relevant regulatory authorities.
* Ensure HACCP and OHS compliance and maintain correct food safety procedures.
* Work independently and as part of a team to achieve specified objectives as determined by both venue and group stakeholders.
The Person:
Reporting to the Head Chef and Venue Manager you will be able to work a rotating roster over 5 days including lunch and dinner.
* You must be passionate about food and able to lead by example, with drive, enthusiasm, and attention to detail.
* You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to motivate and develop staff, and be adept at maintaining a positive team environment.
* You must have the ability to work under pressure.
* You will have successfully completed Cert IV in Commercial Cookery.

The successful candidate will be offered a salary of $74,000 - $78,000 plus superannuation for this role.
