We are seeking a highly motivated Human Resources Officerto join our Divisional HR team in Newcastle, NSW on a permanent full-time basis.Reporting to an HR Manager, this opportunity focuses on supporting our talent pipeline programs, more specifically on the Apprenticeship and Summer Vacation Programsacross New South Wales and Queensland. The role will involve travel to operational regions to conduct bulk interviews and to ensure the ongoing success of these programs.Key Responsibilities:Drive the successful delivery of recruitment projects for the Apprenticeship and Vacation Programs, from inception to completion.Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes, including interview scheduling, conducting interviews and performing reference checks.Oversee basic HR functions, including onboarding, contract preparation, and maintaining HR records.Provide administrative support for recruitment campaigns, HR documentation, and broader HR activities as required.Oversee and manage correspondence by monitoring talent inboxes.Assist with general recruitment activities as needed.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support and enhance talent programs.What We're Looking For:Proven experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or a HR operationalsetting.Demonstrated expertise in onboarding, contract preparation, and maintaining HR records.HR qualifications, or a degree in Business, Psychology, or equivalent experience, are highly regarded.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and candidates.Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple priorities effectively.A proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to work autonomously in a dynamic environment.A current Australian driver's licenceis required.For further information on this role please contact Stella De Best on .Applications close: Tuesday 20 May 2025 Glencore provides unrivalled career and development prospects, great communities and the opportunity to work with leaders in your field.
