About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Centre Director to lead Bunya Early Childhood Centre in Winmalee. As both Centre Director and Nominated Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in ensuring high-quality early learning and care, supporting a positive team culture, and building strong relationships with children, families, staff, and the local community.
You’ll lead day-to-day operations while ensuring alignment with the National Quality Framework, child protection standards, and Connect’s values-driven approach.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide strong and values-based leadership to a dedicated team
• Ensure high-quality, inclusive education and care in line with NQF
• Manage staffing, enrolments, compliance, and reporting
• Build trusted relationships with families and local service providers
• Promote a safe, child-centred, and trauma-informed environment
• Contribute to organisational initiatives and service improvement

What You’ll Bring
• Degree in Early Childhood (ACECQA approved)
• Experience in a leadership role within early childhood education
• Strong understanding of NQF, EYLF, and child protection legislation
• Excellent communication, relationship-building and team leadership skills
• A commitment to social justice, inclusion, and family-centred practice
Essential Requirements:
• Willingness to act as Nominated Supervisor
• Current Working with Children Check & recent Police Check
• ACECQA approved First Aid and Child Protection training
• A clear compliance history
