Construction Coordinator Role

Based in Melbourne's south-eastern suburb a dynamic and experienced Commercial Fit-out Builder whose rapid growth has resulted in a demand for a Construction Coordinator eager to join our and steadily growing Construction Team.

As an Construction Coordinator, you will be involved in the following:

- Working in a small team environment using our own software system (ProCore) in conjunction with other industry software eg Cubit and Estimate One.
- Communicating with trades and suppliers are required per project.
- Complete all Management requirements and must produce accurate documentation within budget timelines.
- Cost management materials and trades throughout the construction process.
- Attending meetings with Clients/Project Managers and Site staff while maintaining great relationships.
- Identify potential risks/ issues at tender time.
- Initial tender compilation analysis.
- Knowledge of building practices and project sequencing.
- Reporting to the Director

To be successful in this role, the following skills are needed:

- Current experience in Building, Construction Management or Quantity Surveying studies, or similar. 3 years Minimum or Proven experience as a Project Manager.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Effective time management and attention to detail.
- Practical industry or trade experience is essential.
- Understanding of Construction Documentation plans, specifications and finishes schedules..
- Knowledge of the tender process and trade procurement.
- Take ownership and be open to feedback.
- Proven Experience

Pay: $70,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Huntingdale, VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Construction estimating: 3 years (required)

- Australia (required)

Work Location: In person
