The client is a highly respected insurance brokerage seeking an experienced Commercial Account Executive / Insurance Adviser to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a client-focused broker who enjoys managing relationships, delivering technical advice, and taking ownership of a well-established portfolio.
From day one, you will inherit a book of business generating approximately $550,000 in income, consisting of a broad mix of SME and Mid-Market clients across a wide range of industries and policy classes.
The role will see you managing the full client lifecycle — from renewals and remarketing through to new business, placements, claims support, and ongoing risk advice — while delivering an exceptional level of customer service and technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and develop an established portfolio of SME and Mid-Market clients
* Handle the full insurance process from strategy and placement through to renewals and servicing
* Build strong relationships with clients, insurers, and key stakeholders
* Provide tailored insurance and risk management advice across a broad range of policy lines
* Negotiate with insurers to achieve the best outcomes for clients
* Identify opportunities for portfolio growth and cross-selling
* Deliver high-quality service standards and technical support throughout the client journey
About You
* Previous experience as an Account Executive, Insurance Adviser, or Broker within the commercial insurance market
* Strong technical understanding across commercial policy lines
* Proven ability to manage and retain a portfolio of clients
* Excellent communication and relationship management skills
* Motivated, professional, and client-focused approach
