We are seeking a dedicated and capable Catering Assistant to join our Marshmead team in a permanent full-time role. This position combines catering (0.8 FTE) with Program Assistant responsibilities (0.2 FTE), offering a dynamic and varied work environment supporting food services, property, farm, garden and student programs.
About The Role As a Catering Assistant, You Will
Work closely with the Food Services Coordinator to manage communal and student kitchensPrepare and provide nutritious, balanced meals that meet dietary and medical requirementsMaintain high food safety and hygiene standardsManage stock, deliveries, storage and inventorySupport student programs, outdoor activities and expeditionsAssist with property, farm and garden operationsContribute to a welcoming, inclusive village environmentSupport College events and operational requirements as needed
Occasionally, you may work an early or late shift when fulfilling Program Assistant duties; however, total hours remain unchanged.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys variety, teamwork, and working in a vibrant school environment.
