Job Summary
The #1 Wind Technician Development Program is a career development opportunity for entry-level wind technicians. As a TOP Wind Service Technician, you will receive exclusive wind safety and technical training accredited through the Global Wind Organization (GWO). You will primarily work at a wind site near your home, on a service team to achieve safe and efficient wind turbine maintenance.
Responsibilities include performing all preventive, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance on wind turbine generator equipment safely and efficiently. They maintain and repair machinery or components used mainly in power generation, turbines, and generators, under supervision.
* Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
* High School Diploma / GED and an Associate Degree in a Technical Mechanical or Wind Energy discipline, or equivalent work experience in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic industries
* Training includes and must successfully complete: Basic Safety Training (First Aid, CPR, Fall Protection), Tower Safety Training (High-angle rescue), Technical Training (Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic), LOTO Training, and other required training

Responsibilities
* Follow all Environmental, Health, and Safety procedures
* Perform mechanical installations, maintenance, operations, and upgrades
* Ensure work complies with customer requirements
* Follow established work procedures
* Document all work performed
* Report policy or procedure violations
* Submit progress reports
* Repair or replace parts
* Use activity-specific tools safely
* Work independently on maintenance projects when required
* Dismantle and assemble machinery and components
* Travel as needed (up to 25%)
* Work holidays, weekends, and overtime as required
* Work at heights and in all weather conditions
* Maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record
