Typically, you will managing multiple projects at one time, 6-8 projects all at different stages, all approx. $100k to $1M in project value.to be suitable for this role you required a trade qualification, builder, carpenter or electrican.This role ensures that refurbishment projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, safely, and to the required quality standards and specifications. The Site Supervisor coordinates with various sub-contractors’ trades, manages resources, and maintains effective communication with internal stakeholders and clients, while being sensitive to the needs and environment of our clients.This is a full-time permanent position, the working hours change depending on client and project requirements, but typically, Monday to Friday 7 AM – 4:30 PM. You will from client site north of the river, and occasionally required to visit the office in Welshpool to catch up with the team.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESAssist in the preparation and implementation of project plans and schedules specific to refurbishment projects.Organise sub-contractors as per program scheduleCoordinate and supervise on-site activities to ensure efficient workflow, minimizing disruption to residents.Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards, particularly in a sensitive living environment.Supervise and direct the activities of on-site workers and subcontractors.Ensure sub-contractors inducted, sign in, and compliant in rapidOversee the daily construction onsite, ensuring minimal disruption to clients.Manage and allocate resources, including labor, materials, and equipment.Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for the Project Manager.Conduct quality inspections and ensure that any defects are correctedEnforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for both workers, sub-contractors, clients and residents.Conduct weekly site inspections and audits in Rapid Inductto ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.Address and rectify any safety issues promptly, with special attention to the well-being of clients and public.Ensure you and sub-contractors are compliant in rapid InductProvide updates on project status to MSS Project Admin team, and escalate issues to Project ManagerLiaise with clients, facility managers, residents, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders as requiredMaintain detailed and accurate project documentationEnsure all documentations are up to date and properly filed in SharePointREQUIREMENTSMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Site Supervisor, Foreman, Construction Manager, Leading Hand or similar related role - preferably with experience in aged care and commercial fit outs.Trade Qualification requiredAdditional Requirements:Valid work rights in AustraliaValid driver’s licenseCovid VaccinatedWilling to get Flu Vaccination annualAbility to obtain Police Clearance, WWAC and WWCCConstruction white cardWHY JOIN THE TEAM?Career path into Project ManagementCompany provided Vehicle, fuel card, laptop, phoneReward and recognition programsStudy assistance program availableMental health and wellbeing programUniform, PPE and safety boots providedCompany funded footy tipping compMonthly Site Supervisor breakfast catch-upQuarterly team social events/ annual year end celebrationsAPPLY NOWWe are looking to fill the position asap.
