Human Resources Manager Role
About the Job
This senior HR role reports directly to the hotel General Manager and involves supporting senior managers and leaders with performance-related tasks, HR operations, payroll, and month-end reporting in conjunction with the HR Coordinator.
The ideal candidate will have strong partnership skills, the ability to drive recruitment, training completion, performance management, and employee engagement while ensuring compliance with relevant laws, policies, and procedures.
Main Responsibilities
* Collaborate with Hotel Leaders to implement strategic recruitment, training initiatives, and performance management practices that promote employee engagement and retention.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
* Oversee workplace health and safety processes, facilitate regular team meetings, and track progress on action items.
* Drive audit compliance across the organization.
* Support managers and finance teams to ensure accuracy in timesheets and fortnightly payroll processing.
Requirements
* Possession of tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Management is highly regarded.
* Relevant experience as a HR Advisor or Business Partner, preferably within a fast-paced hospitality environment.
* Familiarity with hotel industry best practices is essential.
* A deep understanding of employment laws and regulations is mandatory.
* Proficiency in using Preceda and UKG systems would be advantageous.
