Overview
Experienced Podiatrist required for a hospital locum with this regional service, 4 hours drive from Melbourne.
Contract dates: 22nd September – 5th December (can be versatile).
Location: regional service along the Murray River region, approximately three and a half hours north-west of Melbourne and five and a half hours from Adelaide. Accommodation available.
Responsibilities
Focus is on lower extremity amputation prevention, mainly dealing with high risk feet and wound management.
The team provides services across acute, subacute, and residential aged care settings.
Details
Hours/days per week: 8:00am–4:30pm, Monday–Friday with a 30-minute lunch
Reason for vacancy: backfill
The Podiatry service has just over 2 EFT at present: 1 full time and 2 part time, supported by Allied Health Reception and located with Speech Pathology and Physiotherapy
