Overview
Eventide Home is an 80-bed residential aged care facility, located in Rockhampton. To create a home-like environment for residents, the facility actively encourages family to participate in resident activities and care planning. The facility boasts spacious gardens, under cover safe walking promenades with shady seating, an inter denominational chapel, hairdresser and concert hall. The facility is made up of 3 units – Courts, Lodges and Banksia - the administration unit.
About the role
Provide quality support services in the area of food services, cleaning, linen and waste management for the residents (patients/clients) of Eventide Home Rockhampton. Delivery of these services are to be provided with minimum disruption to daily activities, in a manner that supports the safety of residents (patients/clients), staff and visitors and provides an environment that reflects the residents (patients/clients) individual preferences and choice.
About you
* Previous experience in food, housekeeping or hotel services would be well regarded.
* Experience in cleaning, catering, laundry or housekeeping services.
* Proven verbal and written communication skills.
* Demonstrated commitment towards professional development and maintenance of mandatory competencies.
What we offer
* An hourly rate between $39.05 - $41.66 (Including 25% casual loading)
