Hotel Service Position

We are seeking a guest-focused professional to join our hotel team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and provide exceptional service to our guests.



About the Role

This position involves providing exceptional customer service from the heart by responding to requests promptly, efficiently, and courteously.

* Maintain high standards of professionalism
* Promote Accor Loyalty programs
* Recognize loyalty members as royalty
* Promote and up-sell hotel facilities through strong product knowledge
* Maintain procedures in relation to guest confidentiality and the issuing of room keys
* Maintain procedures in relation to credit and cash transactions and accounting documentation
* Attend to guest requests efficiently and effectively, constantly striving to provide Total Guest Satisfaction
* Provide valet parking, assistance with luggage, and book activities for guests



Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

* Previous guest service agent experience in a hospitality environment (preferable but not essential)
* Excellent communication skills
* A strong attention to detail
* An understanding of the region, competitors, and suppliers (desirable)
* A passion for customer service along with a strong desire to achieve goals and targets
* Flexibility with regards to shifts and ability to work rotating rosters including mornings, nights & weekend shifts
* Computer literate
* Opera PMS experience is an advantage (not essential)
* Impeccable grooming and presentation
* Excellent phone manner and organization skills
* A full, clean, and current Australian driver's license with confidence to drive both manual and auto vehicles (must)
