We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Scrub/Scout Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Perioperative team.
Join our team supporting 7 theatres (all specialties except cardiac) and play a key role in supporting surgical teams, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining a high standard of care within our multidisciplinary team.
The Position:
* Overseeing total patient care.
* Being aware of all patient needs, conditions, and progress.
* Maintaining contact with patients throughout the shift.
* Ensuring all patient needs are met.
* Involving patients in their own care and decision-making.
* Carrying out and documenting nursing care using history, care plans, and care pathways.
* Carrying out and documenting medical treatment requests, consulting with doctors when unclear.
* Planning and organizing nursing activities effectively.
* Maintaining and improving technical skills such as ECG interpretation, IV cannulation, chest pain management, and other critical care skills.
* Carrying out nursing procedures safely.
* Ensuring high standards of work quality.
You will have registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse and demonstrate initiative, reliability, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
To succeed, you should bring Scrub/Scout skills, sound clinical judgment, and thrive in a fast-paced surgical environment.

The Benefits:
* Salary: $68,093.58 - $96,175.39 per annum, plus 12% superannuation.
* Negotiable contracted hours.
