**The Role**
They are currently seeking a Program Officer to join their team in Queanbeyan. This is an estimated 3-month temporary assignment, with a potential to extend.
Working within the Assets Business Unit, you will be required to support local administration and delivery of maintenance contracts, primarily preparing office estimates and development of Quarterly Program of Works. This includes issuing value for money maintenance orders, tenant focused service delivery along with delivery of capital maintenance programs covering disable modification, vacant properties, lawn and grounds cleaning to ensure the effective professional services delivery of large maintenance contract
**Responsibilities**
- Manage a planned program of maintenance by analysing Property Assessment Survey Data
- Provide contract administration through the development of office estimates including attend on site
- Support negotiations with contractors quotations
- Ensure works are appropriately delivered
- Rectify work issues and action plans as required
- Develop scopes of work
- Work collaboratively with relevant professionals such as Occupational Therapists for disability modifications
- Ensure compliance with Australian Building Codes, company standards, best practice and contract requirements
**About You**
- Demonstrated Project, Program, Administration or Business Support experience
- Capital Works, Construction Administration or Government experience
- Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written
- Superior organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting deadlines
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office suite
**Requirements**:
- Post trade Certificate IV or equivalent
- Valid Drivers licence
- Contracts Administration experience
- Knowledge of the Australian Building Codes
- Willingness to undergo National Police Check
- Ability to commence the assignment and commit to the duration
- Fully COVID vaccinated or medical exemption
