Job Description
We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in Brisbane, Australia. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications using the .NET framework and AWS cloud services.
- Design and develop scalable, secure, and efficient software solutions using .NET and AWS technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and translate them into technical specifications
- Implement and integrate web services, APIs, and microservices to enable seamless communication between applications
- Leverage AWS services such as EC2, S3, and Lambda to build and deploy cloud-based applications
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and industry best practices in software development and cloud computing
Qualifications
- Proficiency in .NET framework and related technologies (e.g., C#, ASP.NET)
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda)
- Strong programming skills and knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum)
- Experience with web services, RESTful APIs, and cloud technologies (AWS)
- Hands on commercialyears of experience in software development using .NET and AWS
- Familiarity with databases (e.g., SQL Server, NoSQL) and web services/APIs
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Hands on with in-memory databases (Redis), message quotes (RabbitMQ), relational (PostgreSQL) and non-relational (Elasticsearch) databases, SpecFlow/Reqnroll BDD/Gherkin test automation frameworks,
- AWS Certified Developer or Solutions Architect certification (preferred)
- Knowledge of cloud architecture, containerization (e.g., Docker), and DevOps practices is a plus
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
