We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the position of Community Liaison Officer.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing community relationships, resolving disputes, and ensuring public safety. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Main Responsibilities:
 * Respond to community enquiries and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.
 * Conduct inspections and patrols to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
 * Investigate complaints and take appropriate action to address concerns.
 * Collaborate with other departments to achieve shared goals and objectives.
Requirements:
 * Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply relevant laws and regulations.
 * Hold a relevant qualification or have the ability to complete a Certificate IV or Diploma course in statutory compliance or related discipline.
 * Proven experience in handling complex situations and working under pressure.

This is a full-time ongoing position based in Bairnsdale and Lakes Entrance. The successful candidate will be required to travel across East Gippsland as needed.
