About the Company
I'm partnering with a well-established manufacturing business, looking for a Financial Controller to join their team. You'll be working closely with the CFO and leading a small, capable finance team.
About the Role
Lead, mentor, and manage a small team of qualified accountants
Review and approve journal entries prepared by the accounting team
Oversee and maintain key balance sheet reconciliations, including inventory-related accounts
Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles
Prepare and lodge annual statutory accounts and quarterly board reporting
Drive ad hoc projects, including process improvements, cost-control initiatives, and reporting enhancements
Skills & Experience
CA/CPA qualification
Experience as a Financial Controller (or similar) within a manufacturing or product-based business
Strong people-leadership skills and a supportive management style
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
