Empowering Lives, One Day at a Time.

Northcott offers temporary full-time roles based at our Lismore office, until 30 June 2027. You'll enjoy 5 weeks of annual leave, salary packaging to increase your take-home pay, and excellent perks including a discounted gym membership and health insurance.

What This Role Offers Me

In this role, I’ll be the first point of contact for families embarking on their Early Childhood Approach journey, providing exceptional customer service and support to families, staff, and customers every day. Working closely with a passionate team, we’ll collaborate to ensure high levels of satisfaction and meet our KPIs, while proactively addressing challenges to best support the needs of both families and staff. Each day offers new opportunities to make a real impact—whether it’s navigating complex family situations, interpreting developmental assessments, or guiding families to access Early Childhood supports through the NDIA. This agile, rewarding role allows me to create positive change in the lives of children and their families while continuously growing both personally and professionally.

What I Will Be Doing

As a Customer Service Consultant, I will:

- Deliver exceptional customer service to families, staff, and stakeholders.
- Draw on my experience in customer service, call centres, and/or human services to effectively meet client needs.
- Utilise my qualifications in disability, social sciences, or a relevant field to enhance customer interactions (preferred but not essential).
- Efficiently manage inquiries from customers and external stakeholders via phone, email, and web chat, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Complete the intake and sign-up process for new customers, collaborating closely with the Northcott EC CSC Team Leader & Quality Assurance Manager and team to ensure a smooth transition and that families receive the correct information for service delivery.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Adobe programs, and navigate multiple systems and internet technologies.
- Maintain a positive and helpful attitude, focusing on achieving the best outcomes for customers.

Why you’ll love working with us

- Flexible Work Options: Open to both part-time and full-time candidates - find the work-life balance that suits you best.
- 5 Weeks Annual Leave
- Wellness Perks: Fitness Passport and reduced insurance.
- Perkbox: Access everyday savings, discounts, and wellbeing resources — our way of supporting you beyond the pay packet.
- Salary Packaging: Increase take-home pay through packaging options, including $15,900 and $2,650 for meals/entertainment.
- Learning and career advancement opportunities, and your contributions valued.

If this sounds like the right fit for you, we’d love to hear from you. To apply for the position, please submit your updated resume along with a brief cover letter highlighting your relevant skills and experience. Applications close on September 30th.
