Aspen specialises in the design, manufacture, and installation of quality furniture and joinery solutions throughout Australia. Due to the ongoing expansion of its business, it is in need of a joiner to assist on all facets of its long-standing joinery business.
The Role
As a key member of the team, the successful individual will be actively involved in undertaking the following responsibilities in various tasks including:
* Studying drawings, work orders and sample parts to determine specifications;
* Cutting materials and assembling and nailing cut and shaped parts;
* Operating power tools and machinery safely and effectively (e.g. panel saw, CNC machine, hinge inserter, edge bander);
* Proficient at reading and interpreting design specifications and plans;
* Carpentry work including demolition, base, frame, cladding, windows, fix out and fit off;
* Ensuring adherence to building codes, safety guidelines, and quality standards throughout the construction process.
Personal qualifications
* Great attention to detail.
* Joinery experience.
* Physically capable and strong.
* A good team player.
* AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training or AQF Certificate IV.
