Job Overview

This role is responsible for maintaining kitchen efficiency and consistency in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills to motivate culinary professionals.


Key Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with senior chefs to develop food preparation strategies.
* Supervise kitchen staff during meal preparation and service, ensuring high-quality dishes are presented to standards.
* Monitor kitchen operations to maintain food freshness and consistency.
* Develop junior staff members through training and mentorship.
* Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and best practices.
* Manage inventory and control food costs.
* Participate in menu development and cost analysis.
* Handle kitchen scheduling, ordering, and supplier communication.
* Ensure a clean, organized kitchen workspace.
* Address any kitchen-related issues promptly.


Requirements:

* Culinary degree or equivalent qualification required.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in professional kitchens, with at least 2 years in supervisory roles.
* Prior experience in high-end restaurants or hotels preferred, banquets experience highly valued.
